5th Annual Melon Fest! Come and have yourself a mouth waterin', rind thumpin', seed spittin', lip smackin', juice running down your chin slice of summer! Tomatoes may be the king of summer, but a juicy sweet melon is surely summer's glory. We are celebrating melons of every shape and size! From watermelon, to cantaloupe, to honeydew, and more...we love every one! We will have a seed spitting contest (two categories: Adults or Kids), Melon themed music and line dancing. We will all learn to do "The Watermelon Crawl" together. Plus, lots of watermelon-themed items like watermelon baked goods, popsicles, fresh melon salsa, and Watermelon iced tea! There will be watermelon jelly and jams, too. You will see some types of melons that you've never heard of before, and more! Bring some friends and some wet wipes, because this will be a sticky sweet good time!
