If you ask a child whether they love or hate math you'll usually get a pretty divide answer. Some kids find it easy, while others find it challenging and often get discouraged by what they don't understand. As parents, we know that math is a part of our everyday lives. Sorting, building, patterns, adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing, and problem-solving are basic math skills that every child should have the ability to do and learning these skills will help your child achieve success in the future.
Mathnasium of Chattanooga has been helping kids better understand and grow their math skills since 2011. When Alex Guppy started as the Center Director in 2014, he grew the Chattanooga location from 40 to over 150 students and continues to grow. In 2018, Alex decided to go one step further and open the Mathnasium of Hixson location. Alex shares "I am honored by all the parents who have entrusted the safety and education of their children to me over the years and helped me realize my dream of owning my own business. I am looking forward to helping many more children to reach their full potential in the coming years.
